Quality Information Systems – QIS

Mike was hired as Director of Sales & Marketing for this document management software company, without prior industry experience.   He redesigned all print marketing materials;  negotiated partnerships with related products (imaging software, etc.);  and hired, trained and motivated a sales force that took sales from 0 to $6 million in a year and a half, before the company was sold in 1993.   He personally sold over 5,000 seat licenses himself.

                         

 

On the left is a sample of the marketing materials used prior to Mike’s arrival – - black font on gray paper.  Mike designed a professional looking, 4 page brochure that allowed QIS to successfully compete on the same playing field with $100 million companies.
